What this check does
Enter your firm name, city, and practice area. The tool puts three client-style hiring questions to five assistants — ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode. One question is a direct search for a lawyer, one describes a situation the way a person in trouble describes it, and one compares firms. Fifteen answers in total, collected in about a minute.
What you get back
Whether each assistant named your firm, which firms it named instead, and which sources it leaned on — plus the full answer text, so you can read the reasoning rather than take a score on faith. Nothing is summarized that you can't open and check yourself.
What it does not do
It doesn't ask for an email, book a call, or gate the result behind an account. It isn't a ranking of lawyers, an endorsement, or a judgment about anyone's work — being named by an assistant says something about coverage and sources, not about quality of representation.
Honest limits
One check is one snapshot, and snapshots are noisy. Assistant answers are probabilistic: the same question asked twice can name different firms, and a model update can reshuffle the whole list overnight. Treat a single run as a reading, not a verdict. Repeated measurement on a schedule is the real signal — that is what our methodology describes, and the metric built on it is Case Recommendation Share. For why assistants name the firms they name, start with the blog.
